The Capitola Art & Cultural Commission and the City of Capitola are look for sponsor(s) for our Opera at the Beach Event. In 2015 an anonymous donor provided the funding to have the Bay Shore Lyric Opera Company perform Don Giovani at Capitola Esplanade Park. The initial event was such a success; we want to have it continue in 2016 and beyond. We however need to have sponsor(s) for the event. We are looking to raise at least $2000 in sponsorship, which will pay for the opera company, musicians and the sound engineer. The City will market and promote the event through sources in the
The winners of the inaugural Capitola Plein Air event will be on display at Gayle's Bakery & Rosticceria through February. Come by to see the paintings and supports the Arts in Capitola.
