This recruitment is for a Community Services & Recreation Coordinator who will supervise the Afterschool Rec Club, Camp Capitola, Scholarship and Sports Programs and is responsible for all aspects of the program areas. This position supervises around 20 part-time seasonal employees.

TYPICAL DUTIES: 

TEMPORARY/ SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

This opportunity is for softball field prep, score keeper and field manager, afternoon/evening hours

2 to 5 nights a week, 3 to 4 hours per shift; starting date the week of March 24 with hours March through August. 

Wages: $23.23 - $26.89 per hour

TEMPORARY/ SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

CAMP CAPITOLA ASSISTANT COORDINATOR: 15-20 hours beginning in May; full-time Monday through Friday; 40 hours/week beginning June 2 through August 1.

Wages: $23.23 - $26.89 per hour

DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW

Education and Experience:

(A) Graduation from a high school or

(B) GED equivalent

Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

(A) Some knowledge of code enforcement principles, practices and methods as applicable to a municipal setting; working knowledge of applicable laws, standards and regulations relating to parking issues.
