The regular meeting of the Capitola City Council includes a public hearing to consider extending the Conditional Use Permit that allows Ideal Homes to have a model home and store Toyota vehicles at 835 Bay Ave.

The Capitola City Council approved the first reading on March 9 of an ordinance amending Capitola Municipal Code Chapter 9.61 to update the section pertaining to marijuana cultivation and processing, and to prohibit retail sales. The second reading will be on the agenda of the March 23 regular City Council meeting.

This project was withdrawn by the applicant for a redesign and the appeal will not be heard at this time.

Notice is hereby given that the City of Capitola Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing to consider the appeal for 105 Sacramento Ave. on Thursday, January 26, 2017, beginning at the hour of 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 420 Capitola Avenue, Capitola, CA.

This hearing was continued from the meeting of January 12, 2017.

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Capitola will hold a Public Hearing to consider an amendment to Municipal Code Chapter 17.98, Wireless Communication Facilities, on Thursday, January 12, 2017, beginning at the hour of 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 420 Capitola Avenue, Capitola, CA.

The first reading of this ordinance was held on January 12 and continued to the meeting of January 26, 2017. The second reading is scheduled for the Consent Agenda on Thursday, February 9.
