Building Inspections Holiday Schedule:

Counter Hours

Counter Hours are 9 am to 12 pm daily.
The Capitola Building Department performs building inspections Monday through Friday from 1PM to 4PM. Inspections must be scheduled 48 hours in advance. Inspection requests are not guaranteed and may be subject to change depending on the inspectors' workload and routes for that day.
You will receive a confirmation email following the submission of your online request. If you do not receive an email confirmation by the date of the requested inspection, call the Building Department to confirm your inspection. The building inspector will call you on the day of your inspection to provide an arrival window.
Please note, you must schedule ahead of time online for an afternoon appointment between 1:00pm and 3:00pm.
