Museum Membership
Are you interested in engaging with our historical community in a new and innovative way?
The Capitola Historical Museum is now offering a FREE Museum Membership. Museum membership is a common way for museums around the world to help build attendance and grow a regional community of support.
We are encouraging, but not limiting, participation to folks in the Capitola, Soquel, Aptos, Santa Cruz and the greater Santa Cruz County area. All who are interested are welcome to sign up for our membership.
Membership Privileges:
- Members will receive a monthly "Membership Bulletin" outlining upcoming events and activities in and around our museum and sometimes the greater Santa Cruz County museum community (this is in addition to our quarterly Capitola Sunset museum newsletter)
- Members Only Historic Tours of Capitola Village*
- Invitations to History Circles* - a way of sharing stories of our Capitola past and our families connections to Capitola.
- Members Only Picnic*
- Members Only Palm Tree Tour of Capitola Village* (including their cultural ties to our town)
- Members tour during the soft opening of the new exhibition, Multiple Personalities - The Stories Behind Capitola's Historic Buidlings (March 13 from 11 a.m. to noon - limited to the first 20 members responding - Please R.S.V.P. to dosterberg@ci.capitola.ca.us by March 9, 2026)
- A surprise gift from the Museum bookstore
