As of Monday, April 27, the City of Capitola website has a new URL: www.CityofCapitola.gov. City email addresses will also use this domain; for example, the City Council's address will be: citycouncil@cityofcapitola.gov. 

These changes reflect compliance with State law and are designed to promote transparency and trust in local government. The City of Capitola went through an application and review process to qualify for our .gov URL and must adhere to rules set by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA); .gov domains are used to indicate official information, communications, and services. 

The City will no longer update www.CityofCapitola.org.
