Village Merchant/Employee Monthly Parking Permit Guidelines
The Village Merchant/Employee Monthly Parking Permit Program allows employees to purchase monthly parking permits for the Lower Beach and Village Parking Lot located behind City Hall. Permits are valid during all hours that parking meters are in operation.
The cost for the permit is $5 per month. In addition, ParkLync, the permit processing service, charges a $1.50 monthly service fee.
To purchase a permit, your employer must email your first and last name and email address to capitoladpw@ci.capitola.ca.us.
You will then receive an email invitation to create a ParkLync account. Permits may be purchased on a month-to-month basis or set up for automatic renewal. Your permit will be delivered via email and will also be accessible through your ParkLync account.
As part of the process, you will be required to enter your vehicle’s license plate number, which will be provided to parking enforcement officers. You may register up to two vehicles and update or change vehicle information at any time by logging into your account.
Please print the provided “hangtag” and place it on your vehicle’s dashboard while parked to avoid receiving a citation.
