Village Merchant/Employee Monthly Parking Permit Guidelines
The Village Employee Parking Permit Program allows Village business employees to purchase monthly parking permits for the Lower Beach and Village Parking Lot located behind City Hall.
The permits are valid during all hours that the parking meters are operating. The cost of the permits is $5 per month. In addition to the base cost, ParkLync charges a $1.50 monthly processing fee.
To purchase a permit, your employer is required to send an email with your first and last name to capitoladpw@ci.capitola.ca.us. You will receive an email invitation to create your ParkLync account.
Once your account is set up, you can purchase permits monthly or, for your convenience, enable automatic renewal. Your permit will be sent to you by email and will always be available in your account.
You will be asked to provide your vehicle’s license plate number so parking enforcement can verify your permit. You can add up to two vehicles and update your vehicle information at any time by logging into your account.
Please print the “hangtag” and place it on the dashboard of the vehicle while parking to avoid receiving a citation. Failure to display a current permit may result in a citation being issued.
