Beyond the Fence

I created this piece a month after the initial lockdown orders, reflecting on the unpredictability and lack of connection the COVID-19 pandemic has brought into many of our lives. The chain-linked fence represents the feeling of being trapped and the thwarting of ideal plans, and the motorcycle represents the desire to go out and explore the world, but remains stationary with it's kick-stand down because for now those freedoms are postponed.
