Permit parking enforcement begins on May 20th and continues through September 20th.

Parking permits can be purchased at the Capitola Police Department Business Office during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding holidays.

Permits are $25.00 each.

If you are registering with the City for the first time or did not purchase permits last year, please carefully review the Seasonal Neighborhood parking permit rules.

Military Equipment Funding, Acquisition, and Use Policy

Effective January 1, 2022, Assembly Bill (AB) 481 requires law enforcement agencies to obtain approval of the applicable governing body (City Council), by adoption of a military equipment use policy prior to taking certain actions relating to the funding, acquisition, or use of military equipment, as defined.
