Welcome to the Capitola Police Chief’s Advisory Committee.  Capitola Police Department (CPD) highly values its partnership with the community and recognizes that having public engagement contributes toward a successful law enforcement agency.  Continuing with the Department’s mission to collaborate with the community to make Capitola a better and safer place for all its residents, business community, and visitors, Chief of Police Andrew Dally initiated the establishment of a Chief’s Advisory Committee (CAC).

Pursuant to California Assembly Bill 485, hate crimes reported to the Capitola Police Department shall be provided on the agency's website. 

Seasonal Parking Permit Enforcement Starts May 20th, 2025

 

Permit parking enforcement begins on May 20th and continues through September 20th.

Parking permits can be purchased at the Capitola Police Department Business Office during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding holidays.

Permits are $25.00 each.

If you are registering with the City for the first time or did not purchase permits last year, please carefully review the Seasonal Neighborhood parking permit rules.
