EMPTY

EMPTY

Artist: David Adams
Media: Paper and Pencils

My drawing depicts the hill leading into the Capitola village as well as the Capitola pier. In the picture no people are shown because the drawing is centered in the time of the first lockdown, when the virus was not as big and we didn't know much about it.  As seen through personal experience, the Village was about empty at this time, no tourist roamed the streets and not many surfers were out in the water. The restaurants were affected as well. This is why I titled my drawing Empty.
