Capitola Road Pavement Rehabilitation Project

The Department of Public Works for the City of Capitola is currently advertising for bids for the construction of the following project:

Capitola Road Pavement Rehabilitation Project

General work description:

This project will consist of pavement rehabilitation along Capitola Road between 30th Avenue and 41st Avenue.  The pavement rehabilitation will consist of removing 4 inches of the existing pavement section and replacing with hot mix asphalt (HMA).  Isolated areas of pavement failure will be excavated an additional 4 inches and replaced with HMA.  Associated Portland cement concrete (PCC) improvements, such as curb ramps, sidewalk, and curb and gutter, are also part of the project.  The striping will be updated as well.

The estimated cost of construction is $1,700,000

Bids are due on or before 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 30, 2023
