The City of Capitola's Department of Public Works is currently soliciting bids for the construction of the following project

Jade Street Park Restroom Remodel

General Work Description:

The project includes accessibility upgrades to the existing restroom building at Jade Street Park, converting the male and female restrooms into two single-user, accessible, all-gender restrooms with adult changing tables. Work includes new entries, fixtures, finishes, leveled flooring, louvered windows, remote-lockable doors, roof replacement with gutters and downspouts, rafter repairs, and upgraded lighting and electrical. Sidewalk and path of travel improvements to the playground and community center will meet current accessibility standards. Coordination with adjacent projects—including the Community Center renovation and playground improvements—is required.

Partial project funding is provided by a Community Development Block Grant, and all applicable federal requirements apply.
