The City is pleased to share that The Park at Rispin Mansion was opened to the public on Wednesday, December 17, 2025.
Some made-to-order furniture has not yet arrived and will be installed once delivered. Additional art installations and site upgrades are also planned, and more details will be shared as those elements are completed. Stay tuned for updates.
On Tuesday, April 7th from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Join the Coastal Watershed Council for a Tour at Ranchito Paraiso, a beautiful 4 acre organic farm in the Soquel Creek Watershed. On this tour, you'll see the property containing over 300 organically farmed lemon trees. You'll learn about the farm, when they harvest, where the lemons go, and how they use the water wisely to make it all happen. RSVP is required and space is very limited. The City of Capitola will hold a public workshop to discuss plans for the Rispin Mansion Park on Saturday, February 7, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Community Room at Capitola City Hall. The focus of the workshop will be defining and developing conceptual uses for the park site adjacent to the historic Rispin Mansion, located at Wharf Road and Clares Street.
