The Park at Rispin Mansion

Project Overview

The Park at Rispin Mansion is a long-anticipated public park located at the historic Rispin Mansion site in Capitola. While the mansion itself remains closed to the public, the surrounding grounds are being transformed into a vibrant public open space. The park will celebrate Capitola’s unique natural environment and history through native landscaping, walking paths, gathering spaces, and interpretive features.

Coastal Watershed Council Water Tour at Ranchito Paraiso, CCOF Certified Organic Lemon Farm

On Tuesday, April 7th from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Join the Coastal Watershed Council for a Tour at Ranchito Paraiso, a beautiful 4 acre organic farm in the Soquel Creek Watershed.  On this tour, you'll see the property containing over 300 organically farmed lemon trees.  You'll learn about the farm, when they harvest, where the lemons go, and how they use the water wisely to make it all happen.  RSVP is required and space is very limited.  Email:  tours@coastal-watershed.org or call 831.464.9200.

Rispin Mansion Park Community Workshop Scheduled

The City of Capitola will hold a public workshop to discuss plans for the Rispin Mansion Park on Saturday, February 7, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Community Room at Capitola City Hall. The focus of the workshop will be defining and developing conceptual uses for the park site adjacent to the historic Rispin Mansion, located at Wharf Road and Clares Street.
