The City of Capitola invites proposals for the follwing Design-Build Project:
McGregor Asphalt Pump Track
Only contractors who have been prequalified through the prequalification process are eligible to submit bids for this project.
General work description:
Design and construction of a modern asphalt pump track at McGregor Park. The project involves redeveloping the existing earthen track into a durable, low maintenance facility.
Construction is anticipated in Fall 2024. The maximum budget for the Project is $80,000.

General work description:
Provide road diet and traffic calming quick-build improvements at the Bay Avenue and Hill Street intersection to enhance pedestrian and bicycle safety and visibility. The project scope includes constructing new signing and striping along the Bay Avenue, Hill Street, and commercial driveway approaches to the intersection.

Upper Village Parking Sidewalk Improvements
General work description:
Construction of pathway adjacent to existing driveway of Upper Pacific Cove (Beach and Village) Parking lot to the intersection of Monterey Avenue and Park Avenue. 5-foot sidewalk with retaining structure, ADA complaint curb ramps, and pedestrian and bicycle striping.
The total estimated cost of construction is $370,000
