The City of Capitola Public Works Department is excited to announce that construction will soon begin on Capitola Road from 41st Ave to 30th Ave. Construction activities include sidewalk, curb ramp and pavement repairs, as well as updated pedestrian and bicycle striping.

The City of Capitola is thrilled to announce a groundbreaking event on Friday, September 22 at 2:30 p.m. at the base of the Wharf. This event will celebrate the start of construction on the long-awaited Capitola Wharf Resiliency and Public Access Improvement Project, Phase 2, which includes repairs to storm damage suffered in early 2023.
