Community Center Patio Project RFP

The City of Capitola's Department of Public Works is currently soliciting bids for the construction of the following project:

Community Center Patio Project

General Work Description:

The project includes landscape and accessibility improvements around the Capitola Community Center at Jade Street Park. Work involves reconstruction of the east and south patios with accessible paths to the sidewalk, a new accessible entry and seating area on the north side, and west patio improvements including seating, a seat wall, an accessible stage, and a path to the parking lot. An accessible path will also be added to connect the west patio to the playground. Additional scope includes new landscaping, irrigation, and drainage per plans. Coordination with adjacent projects—including the Community Center renovation, playground, and restroom improvements—is required. 

Partial project funding is provided by a Community Development Block Grant, and all applicable federal requirements apply.

Bid Deadline:

Bids must be submitted by 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 31, 2025
