Art and Cultural Contributions and Volunteering

The Art & Cultural Commission is responsible for overseeing the newly created Public Art Program. Community participation is a vital component to our public art program. The most effective and successful public art programs involve the community from the inception of a project to its installation and unveiling. You can get involved by participating on Artist Selection Panels.

VOLUNTEERS: Many of the wonderful events that are sponsored by the Art & Cultural Commission are only successful because of the volunteers. You can volunteer to assist at a Twilight Concert, a children’s art project or any of the many other programs.

DONATIONS: The Art & Cultural Commission receives funding from the City, however it is limited. The ambitions of the Commission are to reach all segments of the community, in order to do so, additional funding is needed from you. If you would like to contribute to the commission, please contact us.
