lbs. each. All items must be curbside by 6:00 a.m. on your regular

BUILDING INSPECTOR I $4,641 to $5,642 per month

Building Inspector I - Inspects buildings and structures in all stages of construction, alteration and repair for conformance with approved plans and building codes; reviews building plans and specifications for proper design and code conformance; enforces building, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, energy and disabled access codes and ordinances; performs other work as required.

Capitola Police Department and City Staff will participte in the Law Enforcement Torch Run on June 12, 2019. This event is a fundraiser and awareness campaign to support the Special Olympics. There are over 97,000 law enforcement members that carry the “Flame of Hope” annually. The flame symbolizes courage and celebration of diversity uniting communities around the globe. Join us in Capitola on June 12 to see local Police Officers and other City employees running the torch to meet up with members of other participating local jurisdictions. 

The City Council of the City of Capitola invites interested firms and individuals with a minimum of five (5) years of municipal law experience to submit written proposals to provide City Attorney services for the City of Capitola. As City Attorney, the selected law firm or individual will be expected to provide a wide range of legal services to the City. The City Attorney is selected by the City Council and works closely with the City Manager and other City staff.

The bike pump track at McGregor Park will be closed for maintenence on Saturday and Sunday May 25th and 26th.  We apologize for any inconvieniece, but we are sure it will be better after the work is completed.

The City of Capitola is seeking qualifications from consultants with expertise in identified areas to serve the City in evaluating its Non-profit Community Group grant program.
