The City of Capitola is recruiting for the position of Development Services Technician.  This position will be part of the Building Division in the Community Development Department.

Council Approves Three November Ballot Measures

At its July 26 meeting, the City Council  placed three measures for voter approval on the November ballot:

The City of Capitola will hold its General Municipal Election concurrently with the November 6, 2018, statewide election. Three of the five City Council at-large seats are up for election. Terms are for four years, from December 2018 through December 2022.

At the close of the nomination period on August 10, the following candidates had qualified for the November ballot:

Council to Discuss Taking Retail Marijuana Tax and Ordinances to Voters

Recreation Supervisor

$5237 - $6369 per month

The City of Capitola is recruiting for a Recreation Supervisor.  The Recreation Supervisor position works out of the City of Capitola Community Center at Jade Street park and manages the City’s recreation program.

The Recreation Supervisor position has not been vacant in a number of years and City administration is currently reviewing the scope and duties of the position.   The current job description may change.
