A: No, if left unpaid, the citation fine will increase and will eventually be attached to your vehicle registration renewal.
 

Assault with a Deadly Weapon

On January 26, 2013 at about 1:10AM, Capitola Police Officers responded to the 200 block of Esplanade for a report of three subjects in a physical fight. Officers arrived on scene and determined one of the males was a victim of a stab wound to his upper torso. Witnesses reported seeing two suspects fleeing on foot. Neither suspect was located after and extensive search of the area. The victim was transported to Dominican Hospital and treated for his injuries.
