1. Q:  Can I pay for my parking ticket using a credit or debit card?
A: We only accept cash and checks in the office , but parking tickets can be paid for online at www.paymycite.com. The company charges a $3.95 processing fee per transaction.
 
2. Q: My citation payment is late — I’m not going to have a warrant out for my arrest am I?
A: No, if left unpaid, the citation fine will increase and will eventually be attached to your vehicle registration renewal.

Train Police and City Staff

To Include a New Training Bulletin, specifically designed for Capitola. Training in Community Policing / Problem – Oriented Policing. Completed in November 2001.

VIPS - Volunteers in Policing

The Capitola Police Department’s Volunteers in Policing (V.I.P.) Program is comprised of citizens from throughout the county. These trained volunteers are utilized to enhance crime prevention and community services. The V.I.P. personnel perform a multitude of functions for this agency
